Landlord &Tenant
We represent both landlords and tenants, in leases, evictions and disputes.
01
Overview
For landlords, we draft leases, enforce lease agreements, pursue recovery of premises and handle disputes over unpaid rent or damage to the property. We also advise landlords on their rights and obligations under the rental laws and regulations that apply to them.
For tenants, we negotiate lease terms, defend against eviction proceedings, pursue claims for property damage and resolve issues over security deposits, and advise tenants on their rights under local and state rental laws and regulations.
In addition to legal representation, we specialise in rental matters, including consulting services to landlords and property managers: best practices for managing rental properties, compliance with the laws and regulations that apply, and effective policies and procedures for dealing with tenant issues.
